Key areas of activity Communications RASI disseminates information to members, potential members, users of security products/ services and the general public to raise understanding of issues relating to security and crime. Marketing RASI holds marketing researches on the security market in Russia, promotes the enhancement of the security industry reputation in the country and overseas. Legislation RASI lobbies key organizations/bodies to achieve desirable changes and valuable working partnerships e.g. the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Economic Development etc. RASI is active in liaising with Government to ensure that legislation reflects industry and customer needs, in lobbing for the regulation law in the security industry. Standards and regulations One of the RASI priorities is the development of high standards within the industry. RASI draws up industry codes of practice and technical documents, works in standards committees to ensure these will meet the demands of the industry. Association members participate in the activities of the Expert Council for developing technical regulations for anti-terrorist and anti-criminal protection of facilities. This includes: International Forum "Security and Safety Technologies", International Conference "Security and Safety technologies: Systems, Solutions, Markets", All-Russian Workshop on Information and Analytical Activities, All-Russian Workshop "Corporate Secure Management in Small- and Middle-Scale Business", panel discussion on security marketing, etc.
Association experts comments and analytical reports based on RASI data are published in over 50 media, including: Business, Expert, Profile, Kompaniya, Pravda.ru, Tverskaya,13, C-news, Oxpaha.ru, Sec.ru, Systemy Bezopasnosty, etc.
RASI holds press parties for the media. In the framework of the informal meetings, relevant market issues are being covered and discussed. The meetings host representatives of the federal and industry publications.
